Bang in the Basement

Inspired by these 70s goblet glasses I recently found at a thrift store and my very own 70s style basement, I wanted to make something that would fit right in with its surroundings.  I started with a variation of a Harvey Wallbanger, a popular drink from the 70s which is basically a Screwdriver with a Galliano topper.  I decided to add some high proof rum, since that always seems to be on the shelf of our basement bar, and some tequila, because that seems to be my drink of choice while sitting in the basement.  The name was inspired by the 70s/80s tradition of crude drink names that play off the previous drink.  There is a whole line of Screwdriver variations with Sloe Gin that will make your aunts blush.  So why not enjoy a Bang in the Basement with someone you love this weekend, you deserve it!
