Radioactive

I found this gem at an antique store.  It’s a glass made from uranium so it glows green under black light.  This particular uranium glass has two angry roosters having a disagreement on it.  I’ve seen sets of these uranium glasses and they are usually pretty pricey.  This little guy was all on his own and was a reasonable sum so I figured I’d take the dip into uranium.  Now I did some research about the safety of drinking out of these glasses (I mean it glows green so it feels kinda scary).  But according to what I read they are relatively safe as long as the glass isn’t scratched or cracked or anything.  It seems eating and drinking off of uranium dishware on a regular basis will affect you less than taking a short flight.  I probably won’t make this glass a regular rotation item, but I think I can safely have a little uranium as a treat.  I wanted a drink that gave off that radioactive vibe so I started with some Midori for the toxic green look.  I then added some high proof rum because this radioactive drink should kinda mess you up.  And why not sprinkle in some lime juice and hot pepper syrup to get that tingle and burn.  I also wanted to lean into the angry roosters a bit so I finished off the whole thing by adding a single drop of Sriacha.  The result is a super fun boozy drink that tingles your throat yet leaves you begging for more.  After a few of these you might be glowing yourself!
