Bulldozer
This isn’t an original drink I created, but a glass inspired journey. I found these kitschy glasses in an antique store in Great Fall, Montana. Even though I was nervous they might not make the long journey home, I couldn’t resist picking them up. I did some googling to try to find the official Bulldozer recipe, but came up short. So I reached out to Tabasco asking if they had the recipe anywhere. I honestly didn’t expect to hear back but, sure enough, a few days later I got an email from the company’s historian. He was unable to find the recipe in their archives, but he did send me a Bulldozer recipe by food journalist Craig Claiborne from an Easter Brunch menu. The recipe is a variation of a Bullshot, just omitting Worcestershire. I am very grateful that Tabasco actually took the time to look for this and make sure I made the proper recipe in these glasses.
